Join the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for a discussion on “Cognitive Bias” in Commercial Real Estate. We will explore how factors such as social, family, and work environments influence our decision-making, team dynamics, and client relationships—often outside of our conscious awareness.

Please complete the Gender-Career Implicit Association Test (IAT) by Harvard University Office for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging. This third-party survey is highly suggested to be completed prior to the event to provide further self-awareness. The conversation will be moderated by Nicole Jacobs-Silvey.

Instructions and link to access the Implicit Association Test:
1) Launch your preferred web browser and visit www.projectimplicit.net
2) On the homepage, click “Take a Test”.
3) In the Project Implicit Social Attitudes box, select Go!
4) On the Preliminary Information screen, scroll to the bottom and click on “I wish to proceed”.
5) Select the “Gender-Career IAT” on the test selection page.
6) Click on the test to begin.
7) You will be directed to a page with detailed instructions about this test. Read through the instructions carefully to understand how the IAT works and what to expect.
8) Start the test.
9) Complete the test. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the IAT.
10) After completing the test, you will have the option to view your results or explore further information.
